 Baby Grow Chart

Materials:
  • precut nice wood board (we made ours 10" wide by 5Õ long)
  • Wooden add-on decorations
  • hot glue
  • slick paints
  • paint marker
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • clear shellac
  1. Lightly sand wood.

  2. Using a ruler, mark out lines in a light pencil — 1" apart. We started at the bottom of our board with 1’.

  3. Go back with a paint marker and ruler and go over pencil lines. Let dry.

  4. Hand-paint any of the wooden appliques and set aside to dry.

  5. Using the slick paints, decorate as you want adding the ruler numbers, the childs’ name and any other decorations. A theme idea is always nice (i.e. — fish, flowers, etc.)

  6. These paints should dry over night. To get the two-tone effect of the numbers that we did. Paint on the first coat, let it dry and go back with the second color to add in the dots.

  7. Hot glue on all the wooden appliques.

  8. Apply 2-3 coats of clear shellac.

  9. Drill a hole in the top and string a ribbon through or attach a hanger on the back to hang on wall.
