- Find
photos and zerox. Enlarging & reducing can alter the
size to give you an interesting variation of photos.
- Take
clear shellac and dip in a paper towel into it and paint
on to zeroxes.
- After
shellac has dried cut out photos.
- Tape
photos to lampshade to get layout.
- Untape
photos one at a time and apply white glue on back.
- Press
onto shade and smooth with your fingers.
- Allow
shade to dry overnight. Paint on several coats of satin
varnish. Let dry between each coat.
- Glue
a strip of decorative bias tape or raffia around the top
of shade for a nice finish.
Postcard
shade:
Follow
instructions above. When zeroxing postcards, adjust the
machine to copy several shades lighter than normal. This
will help more light to come through the shade.
